Stop the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP): Action List Sign-Up
The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is a trade deal that threatens food sovereignty in the US and abroad. It would hurt markets for family farmers and fishermen, increase corporate consolidation in agriculture, increase the use of GMOs, challenge the right to save seeds, and down the road could even threaten local procurement policies -- not to mention its impact on jobs, the environment, access to medicine, and internet freedom.
It's possible that the TPP could come up for a vote in Congress this year. If we care about building a truly just, sustainable food system - we have to ensure the TPP does not pass. Join RFC's TPP Action List to receive updates on the Trans-Pacific Partnership and to learn about opportunities for taking action, from social media to call-ins to local organizing in your own community.
